Kaylyn & Colin’s wedding day at Carlile Acres in Finchville, Kentucky felt like stepping into one of those perfect slow-down-and-soak-it-in kind of days… the kind you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.
From the moment the day began, everything just flowed. There was this easy, joyful energy surrounding them—nothing rushed, nothing forced. Just two people who are genuinely crazy about each other, and family and friends that were crazy about them!
And Kaylyn… wow. I’m not even exaggerating when I say her dress was one of the most gorgeous dresses I’ve ever seen! The delicate floral embroidery felt like something out of a dream—soft, romantic, and completely her. It was the kind of dress that doesn’t just look beautiful, it tells a story… and it fit the entire feel of the day so perfectly.
What I loved most, though, was them! Kaylyn and Colin are the kind of couple that make you feel like you’ve known them forever. They laughed easily, stayed fully present, and didn’t get caught up in trying to make the day anything other than what it was meant to be: a celebration of their story!
There were so many little in-between moments—the big smiles, the effortless laughter, the big heads… Those are always my favorite parts… the ones you can’t plan but somehow end up meaning the most.
It was truly a privilege to be a part of this chapter for them. To witness the beginning of their marriage, to capture the joy and connection they share—it’s something I don’t take lightly!
Kaylyn and Colin, your day was beautiful because you are. Thank you for letting me step into your story and celebrate right alongside you. I have no doubt this is just the beginning of something really, really amazing!
