One of the biggest compliments you can give your photographer is inviting them back into your life after the wedding day — choosing them to document the moments that come after “I do.”

So when Taryn and Ethan asked me to photograph their very first Christmas together as a married couple, my heart just about melted! These two have such a sweet, steady love, and getting to step back into their world felt like visiting old friends.

Their session had all the cozy holiday charm — warm smiles, soft light, and the quiet kind of joy that only comes from celebrating the firsts of married life. It was simple, festive, heartfelt… and such an honor to capture.

Being welcomed back into someone’s story is one of my favorite parts of this job, and Taryn and Ethan reminded me exactly why.
