A Spring Stroll at Yuko-En: Meeting Baby Kash

Family

There’s something special about getting to photograph a family through every chapter of their story. When you’ve been there for the milestones — the laughs, the belly bumps, the tiny newborn fingers — each new session feels like a reunion with old friends.

This time? I got to meet sweet baby Kash for the first time. And let me tell you… this little guy showed up ready to charm. From the moment we started, he was full of smiles, snuggles, and those irresistible baby toes that I swear should be framed.

We met up at Yuko-En on the Elkhorn in Georgetown — a hidden gem of a park I’d never been to before. Nestled just off the beaten path, it felt like we had stumbled into a peaceful little secret garden. The winding paths, the pops of greenery, the quiet ponds — it was the perfect backdrop for a laid-back spring session.

Watching Aubrey, Alex, and Kash together? My photographer heart basically exploded. The soft pinks, the greenery wrapping around them like a warm hug, the quiet in-between moments — it all came together in the most beautiful way.

Every time I get to reconnect with my clients and see their families grow, I’m reminded what an absolute honor this job is. These fleeting moments — they don’t stay small for long. But freezing them in time? That’s the magic.
