Fall will always be my favorite season! There is something about that crisp air in the autumn and the colors of the changing leaves that are just mesmerizing to me! The golden hour, just before sunset when the sun shines through the trees and seems like the mountains are on fire with an array of colors is just to much for my heart to handle sometimes!
When my good friend, Andrea, asked me to snap their family portraits I knew just the place! We ventured down to Whitehall, just outside of Berea and spent a while on their walking trail while I filled my memory card! I just adore her, and we use to work together out at Toyota until we were separated by different shifts. I miss her terribly and was tickled to get a chance to not only capture her family portraits but to spend some time catching up!
The changing season was a perfect backdrop for us as the golden hour approached and I am just overjoyed with how her pictures came out! I used to think you couldn’t take good pictures unless you had pretty things in the background: buildings or statues or graffitied walls, or what not. But I have learned as I have pushed for more photography education and have homed in on my skills and style that I prefer the magnificent backdrop of just Mother Nature!
I hope you enjoy their gallery!
